Volunteer With Us

NDCCO focuses on recruiting volunteers to assist us in our ongoing development towards a sustainable organization.

We welcome people from all backgrounds over 18 years old.

Volunteering at NDCCO is an extremely rewarding experience. Before you start working as a volunteer, you will be asked to sign our code of conduct. We always do a background check on volunteers as part of our child protection policy.

If you are enthusiastic, friendly, and passionate about helping others you will fit right into our family!

Your role

As a volunteer, you can:

Assist or Lead Classes: Work alongside Cambodian local teachers to help deliver lessons or, if experienced, lead a class independently.

Support Other Activities: Contribute to meal preparation, website development, photography, social media outreach, general school maintenance, school promotion, or fundraising efforts.

Your skills

We accept volunteers without previous teaching experience or experience working with children, if you have then that's a bonus!

You must be enthusiastic, committed and have a flexible attitude. Also showing patience and smiling will go along way here in Cambodia!

Support Our Mission:

Please understand that NDCCO operates solely on donations, without any external funding. To sustain our programs—covering expenses such as teacher salaries, electricity, and educational materials—we request a minimum donation of $50 from each volunteer. This contribution ensures the continuity of our services and includes:

A school T-shirt

A personalized name tag

A volunteering certificate upon completion

(Upon request we can also offer a reference letter)

However, volunteers who commit to one week or more and choose to stay in the accommodation next door are exempt from the $50 donation. Instead, they are kindly asked to cover the cost of the T-shirt ($15) and name tag ($5).

Your support is crucial in helping us maintain and grow our initiatives.

Accommodation at The Drop Inn:

We are pleased to offer accommodation adjacent to the school at “The Drop Inn.” Where staying will directly supports NDCCO’s mission. Options include affordable air-conditioned dorms and private rooms.

Amenities include:

A restaurant serving three daily meals

Bicycle and motorbike rentals

Tuk-tuk services and a variety of local tours

If you want to volunteer at our school, we would love to hear from you. You can also contact us if you have any questions.
